The hero and the mission
The Knights of Christ Foundation is an ecumenical Christian charity made up of knights and dames. It raises money, goods and services for three causes: homeless and disabled U.S. veterans, children at risk of trafficking, and refugees displaced by war.
We rebuilt the foundation's website from the ground up. The established mission, board, partners and events stayed, but the story was reorganized so a donor can see exactly who and what their gift supports.
The site has one job for four audiences: earn trust quickly, then make it easy to give, buy a Templar Gala ticket, sponsor or volunteer.

The influences behind the design
A luxury philanthropic journal
Large editorial serif headlines, narrow reading columns and generous whitespace give the foundation a quietly confident voice.
An elegant gala invitation
Gold is used sparingly, for buttons, fine rules and focus states, so it reads as a detail rather than a decoration.
A beautifully made hardcover book
Relaxed line height, formal composition and thin section rules make long reading feel unhurried.
Deliberately left out
Medieval fantasy styling, costume-like Templar imagery, heavy ornament and generic nonprofit templates.
